#NatureisTherapy: How Nature Can Support Wellbeing
Just a walk in the woods or a stroll by the beach on a sunny morning can awaken the innermost feelings of happiness and peace. To put it simply: spending time in nature makes us healthier and happier.
This workshop led by the London-based charity, Dose of Nature, will look at the six active ingredients – awe, sunlight, phytoncides, nature sounds, fractals and soil bacteria – and the science behind why they are good for our mental health and wellbeing. As well as, providing practical tips on how we can disconnect to reconnect to nature.
Dose of Nature works with people with mental health problems and the general population, encouraging everyone to connect with nature in order to improve their mental wellbeing.
